Ive tried a few different apps to capture all my recipes. Zest is by far the best one! Its easy to use, simple, modern and keeps everything perfectly organized. I love it!!!! The only limitation is that it doesnt come with a personal chef to cook for me :)

I paid for two other ones. They were inferior this has everything you need.

I have been searching for an app to simply store my own recipes rather than an app with millions of others recipes. This app is so simple, and easy to use. It has an extremely nice look to it as well.

I told my wife that if I ever leave her, it would be for this app.... Seamlessly catches recipes from numerous websites, including automatically sensing a recipe link and asking if you want to import it . Then you can edit quantities, ingredients or methods, rename the recipe or change pictures, including adding your own pictures. It also steps thru recipes step by step, in large type, if needed.Then for only 10 bucks a year you can save 250 of your edited recipes to their cloud and access them from any other device. Note-paying to store is optional. No more searching thru bookmarks to find recipes I love!

Looks good. Gives you complete control over the recipes, functions, categories, etc. Wonderful recipe import function. Great cook mode. You add and delete your own recipes. Doesnt come loaded with tons of recipes I have no interest in. Cant come up with a single problem or issue.

This is the best recipe keeper Ive found with the cleanest UI available. I love the simplicity of adding my recipes. It couldnt be easier to grab them off the web with the integrated tool, and its smart recipe-link-recognizing capability. I like that I can update ingredients and method if I want to deviate from the written recipe. The UI is simple and intuitive, the recipes are easy to navigate, tiled or listed. I like the visual effect of the recipe photo staying visible as you navigate the ingredients and instructions. I especially love the tagging ability to look up recipes by certain attributes. I havent looked into the cloud option yet but I dont have an iPad so I dont know if that will be useful. Id like to see some sort of desktop extension in the future. And maybe some of the options the iPad app has, like the "Cook" option. I appreciate this app being free, and I would be willing to buy upgrades or premium if they become available. Overall, Im glad I found this app and I look forward to seeing it develop in the future.

This is by far the best recipe-box app I have tried. Most crucially, it imports from the web flawlessly, unlike most others. It is easy to edit the recipes and the graphical user interface is well thought out. It is easy to cook from and easy to work with. IIRC they dont charge money for it but they most certainly could and it would be worth it to pay.

Easily the best recipe app on the app store. Easy to navigate, pretty, and ad-free; in fact, I dont think theres a single thing I dont like about it. The tag sorting and import from web features are especially useful.

I converted all my handwritten recipes. It was easy and is so much more convenient!!!!! I highly recommend it.

Really like this app so far. Layout is very nice, online recipe clipping works well, and easy input for your own recipes. The only problems I see with the app is I cant take pictures of recipe cards I have (I have a lot) and the sharing feature doesnt work. When I go to share a recipe, it just types out the title and not the recipe. Fix these two things and Ill give it 5 stars.

This is my favorite app for cookbook storage. Its not too complicated and does just what advertises! I wish they would make an app for Windows 10! :)

Im loving this app. Its easy to use--I love that I can import recipes from websites (or pins) I have saved, or manually input my own. The interface is nice to look at. I like being able to tag my recipes, so if I have, for example, sausage I need to use, I can easily search my recipes for that. I look forward to adding the rest of my recipes and using this for my recipe box from now on!

I love this app it looks great & is functional at the same time. Recipes are super easy to import. The only features Id like to see Is a conversion tool & to be able to change serving size. As for the zest cloud I love it but would like to be able to save more than 5,000 recipes. I know its a lot but I have over 5,000 & would like to keep them all in one place.

It didnt take me long to love this app. I am a foodie and a skilled cook who had been looking for an app to organise my recipes that I found online. Zest is it and it has exceeded my expectations 10fold! It is so easy to use for saving recipes from web sites. Copy the web address and open the app; the app recognises the copied link and opens it. Once opened the app copies the recipe from the app plus any pics of the food and organises it in a very user friendly recipe card. My only complaint is that you cannot easily share recipes from one zest account to another. You can however sign up for zest cloud which ranges from $4/yr for 50 recipes -- $20/yr for 5000 recipes. If you sign up you can link accounts from one device to another (I assume). I have not signed up because Im cheap and it seems expensive. But like I said, it is the best recipe organising app Ive used. I may bite the bullet and do it. Id love to be able to link my zest account on my iPhone to the account on my iPad and my wifes. Without it likes it is a pain to share recipes or to stay organised when you need to search 4 devices for a recipe. Small gripe overall.
